India L. Minchoff is a founding partner of the Law Offices of Russo & Minchoff, a firm concentrating in the practice of civil and fiduciary litigation as well as ERISA law. India and the firm have extensive trial experience in the Superior Courts, Probate and Family Courts, Fiduciary Litigation Session, and the Federal Court. India also practices before the Massachusetts Appeals Court and the Supreme Judicial Court.
In the area of fiduciary litigation, India represents individual and professional fiduciaries in connection with estate and trust disputes, contested probates and will contests, and contested guardianships and conservatorships. Both in the Superior Court and Probate Courts, India represents clients relating to challenges to beneficiary changes made to trusts, wills, annuities and insurance policies, as well as those seeking to rescind deeds and other instruments. India has been invited to lecture on these topics by professional associations of attorneys, such as the National Academy of Elderly Law Attorneys and the Massachusetts Bar Association.
India’s civil practice regularly involves cases concerning violations of civil rights, discrimination, and contract disputes. A significant focus of India’s practice also includes representing clients in high net-worth divorces.
In 2011, India was selected as one of Massachusetts’ up and coming attorneys. Since that time, India has been recognized by her peers for selection as a Massachusetts Super Lawyer.
India is a member of several State and Federal bar associations, including the Albanian-American Bar Association.
India has received recognition for her work involving financial exploitation of elders in cases involving claims of undue influence, breaches of trust and fiduciary duties, and interference of expectancies. She has been repeatedly recognized as a Massachusetts Super Lawyer.
