Emma S. Funnell
In 2018, Emma joined the Law Offices of Russo & Minchoff. In addition to being licensed to practice law in Massachusetts, Emma is also admitted to the New York Bar, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and she is on the Roll of Solicitors allowing her to practice in the Senior Courts of England and Wales. Emma has experience litigating complex civil disputes at every court level in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. At Russo & Minchoff, Emma handles cases involving financial exploitation of elders, which includes abuses of fiduciary duties, will contests, and trust disputes. She also represents clients in custody and divorce proceedings.
Prior to joining Russo & Minchoff, Emma worked as a Solicitor in the Family Law Department at Owen White & Catlin LLP, in England where her practice focused on Matrimonial, Private and Public Law Children and Guardianship matters. Emma has continued to be engaged in international matters.
Emma is an outspoken advocate for a number of civic and humanitarian causes and has worked alongside social services and other organizations to assist families and youth during crises. Emma spent time in Cape Town, South Africa, where she assisted refugees in obtaining asylum and provided legal services to victims of religious persecution and human rights abuses, often involving acts of human atrocities.
Emma is an appointed council member of the Norfolk County Bar Association. She is also a member of the Massachusetts Bar and the American Bar Association.
